PREPARATION
My Life As A Farmer In Ancient GreeceIn ancient greece farming was hard because due to the limited amount of good soil there and cropland. It was estimated that only twenty percent of land was usable for growing crops. In greece they would always use everything they had they wouldn’t waste a thing. When farmers worked they usually got payed two drachmas but sometimes they will get payed up to 30,000 drachmas. Back then if men weren’t in the military then men would usually get to gather play games go see movies about comedies and tragedies. Women back then couldn’t do that much they mostly did housework. Children back then would play with there toys or play games. The Greeks made a living from farming it was difficult to farm because of the climate. Greeks made a lot of wine out of the grapes they harvested. The greeks used olives in every single dish they ate. Greeks ate a lot of meat and bread for dinner or lunch or breakfast. The children would play games also the boys would play games naked and the girls were forbidden to watch them play. The girls wouldn’t do much during the day. The children wouldn’t do any physical activity but they played checkers but it was much different than today's checkers. source:http://www.ultimate-guide-to-greek-food.com/images/tray-of-baklava.jpg Source:http://www.olivetomato.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/baklava-strifto.jpg
